Reported 2006 awareness and 2019 denial

Reiter’s October 2019 FBI interview reportedly recalled a July 2006 Trump call acknowledging widespread awareness of Epstein’s conduct. Trump publicly said in July 2019 he had no idea Epstein was molesting young women.

DOJ said it was unaware of corroborating evidence of the call.

Reiter’s reported account is linked to his FBI interview and ABC’s reporting.

Reiter’s reported account places the call in July 2006. Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida in June 2008.
