DOCUMENT INGESTION / REDACTION AUDIT

Make difficult records searchable without weakening the evidence standard

DOJ warns that handwritten and scanned Epstein materials may be unsearchable or return unreliable search results. This module records OCR confidence, visual verification, redaction status and lawful alternate sources.

1Original page image remains authoritative
2OCR creates a searchable working transcript
3Low-confidence text is visually checked
4Claims link back to document + page
OCR STATUS

Machine transcript

Every scanned page can carry an OCR confidence score. Names, dates, dollar amounts and unusual terms receive stricter verification because a single character error can create a false connection.

NEGATIVE SEARCH RULE

No hit ≠ evidence of absence

If a collection is partly unsearchable, a failed text search is stored as a negative search result—not as proof that a name or event does not appear.

REDACTION RULE

Audit, don't expose

We can compare duplicate public versions, court dockets and lawful parallel releases. We do not publish hidden victim identifiers, grand-jury material, protected personal identifiers or information covered by court orders merely because a PDF was poorly redacted.

Sample document audit queue

Why this matters: DOJ's own Epstein Library says some material may not be electronically searchable or may produce unreliable results. DOJ also says victim names and identifying information have been redacted, while court records may contain additional redactions required by grand-jury secrecy, personal-identifier rules, victim-protection statutes and protective orders.
PERSON-SPECIFIC WITNESS LAYER

Trump — victim and witness cross-references

This layer sits underneath the visual Trump node. It keeps incriminating, neutral, favorable, disputed and retracted evidence visible together rather than forcing a conclusion.

Separate contextual evidence

2005

Access Hollywood recording

Trump was recorded describing initiating kissing without waiting and grabbing women by the genitals. He later characterized the remarks as locker-room talk.

2023

E. Jean Carroll civil verdict

A federal jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll and defaming her. This is a civil liability finding, not a criminal conviction.

COURT CROSS-REFERENCE

Recording admitted in Carroll case

The Second Circuit upheld admission of the Access Hollywood recording and other-act testimony as relevant evidence in the Carroll litigation.

PAGEANTS

Backstage statements

Trump's recorded statements about entering pageant dressing areas belong in the broader conduct chronology, separately from individual contestant allegations.

EPSTEIN

Keep the bridge explicit

Broader sexual-misconduct evidence does not prove an Epstein-specific act. An Epstein connection requires its own evidence object.

RULE

Evidence in both directions

Statements favorable to a subject, such as Sjoberg saying she never massaged Trump, are preserved alongside allegations.

SAME RULES FOR EVERYONE

Claims and counter-evidence by person

Every major person gets the same structure: documented relationship, victim/witness claims, denials, legal outcome, evidence favorable to the person, unresolved questions, and source trail. “No claim found” means only that our current reviewed sources did not identify one.

He died in custody before trial.Serious criminal allegations/investigation; no completed trial
Bill ClintonDocumented flights and social contact. No victim-specific sexual-abuse allegation against Clinton identified in the current reviewed sources used for this beta.Clinton says he saw nothing suspicious, knew nothing of Epstein's crimes, and never visited Little St. James.Documented association; no victim abuse claim identified here
Bill GatesRepeated post-conviction meetings; communications involving foundation staff. No Epstein-victim sexual-abuse allegation against Gates identified in current reviewed sources. Epstein allegedly used knowledge of Gates' extramarital affairs to pressure him.Gates says meetings concerned philanthropy. Foundation external review reported no evidence it paid Epstein or knew of/participated in trafficking.Documented association; no victim abuse claim identified here
Leon BlackPaid Epstein $158M for financial/tax/estate advice.Congressional investigators and survivors seek more information about NDAs and the financial relationship. Black has faced separate non-Epstein sexual-misconduct allegations, but those are not treated here as Epstein evidence.Black says he never engaged in abuse or sex with minors and did not know the scope of Epstein's conduct.Major financial relationship; no Epstein-related criminal finding
Jes StaleyLongstanding banking/personal relationship; acknowledged sharing confidential bank information with Epstein.Congressional investigators questioned his characterization of the friendship and his role in defending Epstein as a bank client.Staley says he was unaware of Epstein's criminal activities.Institutional/relationship scrutiny; no victim abuse claim identified here
Leslie WexnerEpstein served as personal money manager and had extensive financial authority. No Epstein-victim sexual-abuse allegation against Wexner identified in the current reviewed sources used here.Wexner says Epstein stole from him, that he cut ties after learning Epstein was an abuser, and that he never knew of or participated in Epstein's criminal conduct.Extensive financial relationship; wrongdoing not established
Steve BannonExtensive interviews/messages; documentary, political and media-strategy relationship. No Epstein-victim sexual-abuse allegation against Bannon identified in current reviewed sources.Relationship is best documented as media/political interaction. Epstein's claims in interviews are not independently true merely because recorded.Documented media/political relationship
Ghislaine MaxwellCentral operational associate.Multiple victims testified or alleged Maxwell recruited, groomed or facilitated abuse.Maxwell denied major elements of the abuse narrative, but a federal jury convicted her.Criminal conviction
Equal-treatment rule: the same template is applied regardless of party, wealth, profession or public reputation. A claim is never upgraded because it is politically convenient, and favorable testimony is never removed because it complicates a narrative.
CORPUS METRICS

How often is each person mentioned?

A single universal count would currently be misleading. DOJ warns that portions of the library are not electronically searchable and may produce unreliable search results. Counts below therefore distinguish verified subset counts, qualitative published counts, and counts still awaiting a reproducible full-corpus index.

Important: raw frequency is not a guilt score. One person can appear hundreds of times because of litigation, news clippings, duplicate documents or repeated address-book entries. The useful metrics will be: unique documents, unique events, unique communications, unique trips, unique financial records and victim/witness references.
COUNT METHOD

1. Deduplicate

Identical/repeated documents should not inflate importance.

COUNT METHOD

2. Resolve aliases

Full names, initials, nicknames, OCR variants and misspellings are merged only when identity is clear.

COUNT METHOD

3. Count by evidence type

Separate email mentions, flights, photos, financial records, witness statements and news clippings.

PHOTO DOCUMENTATION

Photographs as evidence of time, place and association

The app treats photographs narrowly: they can establish who was photographed together, where, and when. They do not prove criminal knowledge or conduct. Rights are reviewed image-by-image before republication.

MODELING / PHOTOGRAPHY

Melania Knauss · Antoine Verglas

Verglas photographed Melania early in her U.S. modeling career. Released Epstein material later documents a separate professional Verglas–Epstein relationship years afterward.

PAGEANT EVIDENCE · SOURCE-CHECKED

Trump pageant statements and contestant accounts

This module keeps Trump's recorded statements, contestant allegations, counter-evidence and corrections together. It does not treat pageant evidence as Epstein evidence unless a direct documented bridge is established.

Trump — Howard Stern, April 2005

Trump described going backstage before pageants while contestants were dressing and said his ownership allowed him to enter and “inspect.” The exchange concerned Miss USA/Miss Universe contestants, not Miss Teen USA.

Correction: viral versions that insert “Miss Teen USA” and ages 14–16 into Trump's quotation are altered.

Mariah Billado — Miss Vermont Teen USA, 1997

Billado alleged Trump entered the dressing room while teen contestants were changing. She recalled rushing to put on her dress and remembered Trump making a remark to the effect that he had seen it all before.

Documented allegation; not an adjudicated finding.

Other 1997 Miss Teen USA contestants

Three other contestants initially gave similar accounts anonymously; later reporting described another corroborating account. Eleven contestants contacted in the original reporting did not recall seeing Trump enter or doubted/rejected that it occurred.

Both corroboration and counter-evidence remain visible.

Tasha Dixon — Miss Arizona USA, 2001

Dixon alleged Trump entered while contestants were changing into bikinis, including women who were topless or naked, and said staff subsequently encouraged contestants to approach him.

Additional Miss USA 2001 account

The Guardian reported a second contestant, unnamed, who alleged Trump entered a dressing area despite security being told contestants were naked and stood looking at them.

Trump campaign response

The campaign denied the Teen USA allegations and said they had been disproved. PolitiFact found contestants who disputed or did not remember the event, but said the campaign had not supplied evidence demonstrating that the allegations had been disproved.

LEGAL / EDITORIAL FRAMEWORK

How the Explorer avoids turning evidence into accusation

The project is designed to expose the record, not to manufacture conclusions. The disclaimer is important, but it is not a substitute for verification. Our main protection is disciplined sourcing, accurate status labels, context, corrections, and equal treatment.

NO GUILT BY ASSOCIATION

Connections mean only what the source proves

A photograph can establish presence together. A flight log can establish travel. A payment can establish a transaction. None automatically establishes knowledge of abuse or participation in a crime.

ALLEGATIONS

Claim status is always visible

Unadjudicated allegations remain allegations. Withdrawn, contradicted, retracted, or weakly sourced claims are marked accordingly. We do not upgrade a claim because it fits a theory.

LEGAL OUTCOMES

Civil ≠ criminal

Civil liability, settlements, regulatory findings, criminal charges, guilty pleas and criminal convictions are stored as different evidence classes.

RIGHT OF REPLY

Denials and favorable evidence remain attached

When a subject denies an allegation, or when testimony cuts against a theory, that information remains linked to the same record.

VICTIM PRIVACY

Protect identities by default

Public victim records use neutral identifiers unless a survivor has clearly made their identity public and inclusion is necessary. Protected personal information and explicit imagery are excluded.

COPYRIGHT

Fair use is reviewed image-by-image

17 U.S.C. §107 recognizes fair use for purposes including criticism, comment, news reporting, scholarship and research, but courts weigh four statutory factors case-by-case. Widely circulated does not mean public domain.

REDACTIONS

Lawful comparison, not exposure

Duplicate public releases may be compared. We do not publish protected victim identifiers, grand-jury material, sealed information or other protected content merely because a redaction was technically defective.

OCR

Machine text is not the source

OCR is a search aid. Names, dates, dollar amounts and material quotations should be checked against the underlying page image before they become evidence objects.

CORRECTIONS

Every substantive correction should remain traceable

Material corrections should record what changed, why, when, and which evidence caused the revision. Silent rewriting weakens trust.

Universal evidence-status vocabulary

StatusMeaningExample treatment
EstablishedAdjudicated finding, authenticated primary record, or very strong corroboration.Criminal conviction; dated government record; verified photograph metadata.
DocumentedThe event, statement, relationship or transaction is supported, without implying wrongdoing.Meeting, flight, social photo, professional payment.
DisputedMaterial conflict exists among accounts or evidence.Allegation plus denial; conflicting witness accounts.
UnverifiedClaim exists but lacks sufficient corroboration.Anonymous allegation; unsourced internet claim.
Retracted / debunkedSource withdrew claim or stronger evidence disproves it.Retraction linked directly to original claim.
UnknownEvidence gap is explicit.Record sought but not yet found; search failure is not evidence of absence.
Important: no disclaimer can cure inaccurate or reckless reporting. The system is designed so that the evidence trail, counter-evidence and legal status are visible at the point where a reader encounters a claim.
CASE-RELEVANT PEOPLE INDEX

Short bios, relevance, and where to drill next

The index is relevance-based rather than celebrity-based. Being listed does not imply wrongdoing. Names are included when primary or court records make them useful to understanding Epstein's operations, victims, legal history, money, travel, properties or social network.

Lawyer who represented Epstein in the Florida resolution and later became the subject of a disputed Giuffre allegation and extensive defamation litigation.

Show allegation, denial and settlement language together.
Drill into: 2007 NPA · legal team · Giuffre litigation
Legal-status warning: DOJ records emphasize that people named as potential co-conspirators in the 2007 NPA were not thereby convicted, pleaded guilty, or automatically adjudicated as participants in trafficking.
SEPARATE INVESTIGATIVE LAYER

What's Missing?

This layer does not claim that every absent record is being improperly withheld. It tracks records that reporting, indexes, prior disclosures, agency references or investigative history give us reason to expect. Each gap gets its own status and explanation.

New cross-document rule: when one record says a document, attachment, calendar, receipt, video, account, device extraction or agency file should exist, the system creates an expected-record object. If that object cannot be located in the public corpus, it appears here automatically as a research gap.
Critical distinction: DOJ says it released every document required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act and says unreleased material was duplicative, unrelated, privileged, or otherwise protected. The layer below records unresolved public-record gaps; it does not presume concealment.
OPERATIONAL NETWORK

Who moved people, money, schedules and information?

This view prioritizes operational relevance over fame. It asks what each person actually did, what primary records place them in the system, and what remains unknown.

Larry Visoski

Epstein's longtime pilot. In sworn testimony he identified Sarah Kellen and Nadia Marcinkova as the two most frequent travelers with Epstein during the prior decade.

Drill into: flight logs · Little St. James transport · Kellen · Marcinkova

David Rodgers

Pilot whose flight logs became important evidence. A court filing later argued the Rodgers logs were incomplete compared with other flight records.

Drill into: missing flights · passenger discrepancies · Palm Beach / New York routes

Kathryn Ruemmler

Former Obama White House counsel and later Goldman Sachs general counsel. 2026 reporting says DOJ records showed gifts from Epstein and advice to him on handling media inquiries about his crimes.

Relevant professional/social relationship; no implication of participation in Epstein's abuse.
Drill into: communications · gifts · legal/media advice · House testimony

Scott Borgerson

Former husband of Ghislaine Maxwell. Financial and property records became relevant to Maxwell's hidden New Hampshire residence and asset structure.

Drill into: Tucked Away property · trusts · UBS transfers · Maxwell assets

UBS

Reuters reported UBS transferred nearly $8 million for Maxwell shortly before the purchase of her New Hampshire hideout, despite a prior subpoena for her financial records.

Banking activity and later scrutiny do not by themselves establish criminal complicity.
Drill into: trusts · property purchase · suspicious-activity reports

Julia Molchanova

Former Epstein assistant and survivor who later became the lead Jane Doe in litigation against Bank of America. Recent reporting describes her account of coercion and use of a shell company in her name.

Survivor account; allegations should be tied to filings and corroborating records.
Drill into: JSC Interiors · Bank of America · assistant network · survivor claims
Cross-link to What's Missing: the Rodgers-log discrepancy and current gaps in external-agency material now link operational records to the missing-evidence layer.

Southern Trust → Charles Schwab → Marrakesh

DOJ-released records reviewed by Reuters show that in the ten days before Epstein's July 2019 arrest, Charles Schwab moved about $27.7 million in attempted payments tied to a planned palace purchase in Marrakesh through accounts for Epstein company Southern Trust. Schwab filed a suspicious-activity report after the arrest.

Cross-link: Southern Trust · Charles Schwab · Morocco · suspicious-activity reporting · final pre-arrest money movements
The transfers are documented financial activity; they do not by themselves establish that Schwab knew of or facilitated sex trafficking.

Presence evidence beyond flight logs

A federal records request sought calendars, meeting notes, property-travel records, and event/meal receipts involving Epstein or Maxwell. This gives the Explorer a stronger presence model: a person can be linked to a place through independent record types rather than a single flight-log dataset.

New evidence object: PERSON + DATE + PLACE + RECORD TYPE + SOURCE + CONFIDENCE

Searchability itself is a research limitation

DOJ warns that portions of the Epstein Library—especially handwritten or unusually formatted material—may not be electronically searchable or may return unreliable results. A zero-result name search therefore cannot be treated as proof that a name does not occur.

Cross-link: OCR/image-to-text queue · What's Missing · mention-count confidence

Zorro Ranch: federal records request

A released federal request sought calendars/notes of meetings with Epstein or Maxwell, documents reflecting travel to Zorro Ranch and Epstein's other properties, and receipts/tickets for events or meals involving them. This is useful because it shows investigators were trying to reconstruct property presence from records beyond flight logs.

Cross-link: Zorro Ranch · calendars · receipts · travel · What’s Missing

Zorro Ranch: 13,000+ references

New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez said in July 2026 that open-source Epstein materials reference Zorro Ranch more than 13,000 times, but many records are redacted in whole or part, limiting identification of potential leads.

Mention count is not evidence of wrongdoing by any person; it is a measure of the property's documentary footprint.

Unverified burial allegation

New Mexico opened an inquiry after a released 2019 FBI-related record contained an allegation from a purported former ranch employee that two foreign girls had been buried near the ranch. The allegation is unverified and should remain quarantined from established facts unless physical or documentary evidence corroborates it.

Evidence status: UNVERIFIED ALLEGATION. Do not present as fact.

Julia Molchanova / JSC Interiors

Recent reporting describes former assistant and survivor Julia Molchanova saying a shell company called JSC Interiors was created in her name. This gives us a concrete entity to trace through incorporation records, banking, invoices, counterparties and property expenses.

Cross-link: survivor account · shell company · banking · assistant network
Next research pass: connect pilots, schedulers, assistants, bankers, trusts, shell companies and property staff to specific dates and victim/property events instead of leaving them as separate biographies.
SEPARATE INSTITUTIONAL AUDIT LAYER

DOJ / FBI Public Statement Audit

This layer tracks major verified public statements about Epstein/Maxwell by DOJ and FBI officials, organized by administration. Each statement is tied to the original source, then checked against later primary records. Every statement is split into the smallest checkable factual claims and marked TRUE or FALSE. When the evidence is insufficient, the display says UNKNOWN. When a node has not yet been researched, it says a separate red DEVELOPMENT NOTE.

Obama-era research note: no major centralized DOJ/FBI public Epstein statement has yet been added to the verified set for 2009–2017. The visualizer shows that administration as an explicit research gap rather than silently omitting it.
Completeness rule: this is a growing index of major verifiable DOJ/FBI public statements, not yet a claim that every press appearance or off-the-cuff remark has been captured. New statements are added only when we can preserve date, speaker, venue/source, administration, exact or near-exact wording, and evidence used for fact-checking.
UNIVERSAL FACT-CHECK LEDGER

Statements by every party — checked the same way

The rule is deliberately simple: break a statement into atomic factual claims. Mark each claim TRUE or FALSE. If the public record cannot answer it, mark UNKNOWN. If research has not yet reached a field, show a red DEVELOPMENT NOTE such as “Information coming” or “Information unavailable from current sources.” Development notes are not evidence-status labels.

EPSTEIN-LINKED BUSINESSES / ENTITIES

Businesses, trusts, aircraft companies, property companies and foundations

This is an entity map, not a guilt map. The purpose is to show how Epstein's finances, aircraft, properties, philanthropy and asset-holding structures were organized. Ownership and control are shown only where primary/court records support them.

DAILY NEWS WATCH

New developments and update pipeline

The production app is designed to scan high-priority official and journalistic sources once each day, compare new material to the existing evidence graph, and surface only material developments. New items appear here and trigger an in-app notice until reviewed.

Dailyscheduled scan
Source-firstofficial records prioritized
Dedupedrepeat coverage merged
Node-linkedupdates attach to evidence
Production method: scheduled server job → collect official releases and high-quality reporting → deduplicate → extract names/places/entities/claims → fact-check against existing evidence → update canonical graph → publish a versioned update feed. The browser/app only displays approved feed records; it does not autonomously publish unverified web results.
Important: this static beta contains the current reviewed update feed, but it cannot itself crawl the web while sitting on a phone. Automatic daily updating requires the deployed backend job described in weekly_scan_spec.json.
CURRENT EPSTEIN NEWS

Latest reviewed developments

This page is the reader-facing output of the daily news watch. Items appear here only after source review and fact-checking, then link back into the evidence graph.

Current News is the intake layer.Reviewed developments can be promoted into profiles, connections, the detailed timeline and source index.

CONNECTION CHECK

Why is this connection shown?

Open any connection to see what supports it, how it relates to the case, what is disputed, and what remains unknown.

Trump ↔ Bannon

EXTERNAL-CONTEXT

Trump appointed Steve Bannon as White House chief strategist. This political relationship is independently documented and useful background because both men have separate Epstein-related records. It is not itself an Epstein-case relationship.

Barak ↔ Thiel

CASE-CONTEXT

Released May 2017 correspondence records Epstein introducing Peter Thiel to Ehud Barak for Thiel's Israel visit, followed by Barak inviting Thiel to dinner.

Gates ↔ Staley

CASE-CONTEXT

Bill Gates testified to House investigators that he met Jes Staley once, at an Epstein dinner in 2011, and said it was the first and last time he met Staley.

Maxwell ↔ Brunel

CASE-CONTEXT

Court records repeatedly place Brunel and Maxwell within the same Epstein-related discovery and witness record. The exact conduct asserted in any filing remains labeled by source type—allegation, testimony, or adjudicated fact.

Black ↔ Apollo

MIXED CONTEXT

Black's role at Apollo is an independent corporate relationship. Epstein-related scrutiny later affected Black's leadership and generated litigation. Each event must be classified separately rather than treating Apollo itself as an Epstein actor.

Rule

PROVENANCE FIRST

Name presence ≠ case connection ≠ wrongdoing. The visualizer should make that distinction more obvious than conventional social-network diagrams do.

HOW ARE THEY CONNECTED?

Follow the evidence between any two subjects

Choose people, places, institutions or events. The Visualizer shows the documented path without treating proximity as proof of wrongdoing.

WHAT WE KNOW

Documented connection

The simplest supported explanation of why the line exists.

HOW WE KNOW IT

Evidence

Emails, testimony, court records, photographs, financial records, official releases and reliable reporting.

WHAT IS DISPUTED

Claims & contradictions

Conflicting accounts remain visible instead of being silently resolved.

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW

Limits

Planned events, missing records and unresolved questions are labeled as such.

Core rule: A name in a file is not proof of a case connection. A connection is not proof of wrongdoing.
SOURCES & METHOD

Simple on the surface. Traceable underneath.

Every important fact is designed to drill down to its source and context.

Primary first

Court records, government releases, transcripts and original communications take priority.

Exact context

Dates, document identifiers and page references are preserved when available.

Clear status

Allegations, testimony, findings, convictions, denials and unresolved claims are not treated as interchangeable.

Corrections

New evidence can update a relationship without erasing the earlier research trail.

DATABASE UPDATE LOG

Current News → permanent research record

Reviewed promotion pipeline activeNews discovery does not automatically become permanent evidence.

The production workflow extracts proposed facts, subjects, relationships and timeline events from new reporting; verifies them against primary sources and reliable corroboration; then promotes approved changes into the permanent database.

RELATED INFORMATION

What outside reporting corresponds with the official record?

External reporting, memoirs, interviews and later developments can add useful context. This layer links those items to official records concerning the same chronology or subject while keeping the source types explicitly separate.

Source boundary: An outside article never becomes an official government record because we link it to one. A news article included as a court exhibit also does not automatically become a judicial finding.
CORRESPONDS / PARTLY CORROBORATES CHRONOLOGY

Mar-a-Lago recruitment chronology

NOT PART OF THE OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT RECORD
AP / Giuffre memoir coverage: Giuffre said Maxwell recruited her at Mar-a-Lago when she was 16

The public account corresponds with federal-court material from Giuffre v. Maxwell documenting Giuffre's position that Maxwell approached/recruited her while she worked at Mar-a-Lago and with deposition testimony discussing Mar-a-Lago as the meeting location.

Open external source ↗

Related official records

Limit: The external memoir/reporting remains a separate source. The court filings contain claims, responses and testimony with their own evidentiary status; linking them does not convert every memoir statement into a judicial finding.

EXTERNAL STATEMENT ↔ OFFICIAL CHRONOLOGY

Trump's 2025 'poached' comment and Mar-a-Lago employment

NOT PART OF THE OFFICIAL COURT RECORD
Reuters: Giuffre family reacts to Trump's statement that Epstein 'poached' her from Mar-a-Lago

Trump's later public characterization is not itself part of the Giuffre v. Maxwell court record. It corresponds to court documents establishing that Giuffre worked at Mar-a-Lago and describing her allegation that Maxwell recruited her there.

Open external source ↗

Related official records

Limit: The later Trump statement does not establish what Trump knew in 2000. The official records anchor only the employment/recruitment chronology and disputed positions within the litigation.

REPORTING ↔ UNDERLYING COURT TESTIMONY

Maxwell deposition and massage testimony

NOT THE OFFICIAL RECORD
Reuters: unsealed Maxwell testimony about massages

Reuters summarized newly unsealed deposition testimony. The underlying deposition is available in the DOJ-hosted Giuffre v. Maxwell court-record collection and should be the primary citation when the exact testimony matters.

Open external source ↗

Related official record

Limit: Use the news report for context and the official deposition for exact questions, answers, objections and page references.

EXTERNAL REPORTING ↔ RELATED COURT EXHIBIT

Jean-Luc Brunel allegations and French proceedings

NOT PART OF THE U.S. COURT FINDING
Reporting on Brunel's French criminal proceedings and Epstein relationship

External reporting about Brunel can be connected to U.S. court filings that discuss Brunel and allegations involving the Epstein network. A DOJ-hosted USVI v. JPMorgan exhibit also contains contemporaneous reporting about the French proceedings.

Open external source ↗

Related official record

OFFICIAL COURT FILING / EXHIBIT
USVI v. JPMorgan — Exhibit 245-02 ↗

Limit: A news article attached as a court exhibit is not transformed into a judicial finding merely because it appears in the docket.

LATER DEVELOPMENT ↔ PRIOR OFFICIAL RECORD

Leon Black current congressional dispute

NOT PART OF THE PRIOR TRANSCRIPT
Reuters: Black sues House committee over Epstein investigation

The September 2026 litigation/deposition dispute is a later development. It corresponds to the official House record of Black's earlier transcribed interview but is not contained in that earlier interview.

Open external source ↗

Related official record

Limit: The current dispute and the earlier transcript are distinct events. The link is chronological/contextual, not proof that either source establishes the other's assertions.

REPORTING BASED ON OFFICIAL FILES + EXTERNAL CONSEQUENCES

Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem / DP World fallout

NOT ITSELF AN OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT RECORD
Reuters: Epstein sought powerful Middle East ties; Bin Sulayem correspondence and DP World fallout

Reuters independently reviewed portions of DOJ-released correspondence involving Bin Sulayem and reported the later corporate/investor consequences. The correspondence belongs to the government release; the corporate fallout and Reuters analysis do not.

Open external source ↗

Related official records

Limit: The official files support the existence/content of released correspondence. Reuters' reporting about resignations, investor reactions and broader interpretation is external context and must remain labeled separately.

REPORTING ↔ DOJ-RELEASED CORRESPONDENCE

Howard Lutnick island-lunch correspondence

NOT THE OFFICIAL RECORD
Reuters: emails show planned/actual 2012 Little St. James lunch involving Lutnick

Reuters reported on emails in the Jan. 30 DOJ production indicating a 2012 lunch plan and follow-up. The article supplies journalistic context; the underlying released emails are the official-file anchor.

Open external source ↗

Related official records

Limit: Where exact email/document IDs are identified, the app should link directly to those files. Until then, this record links to the official release collection and labels the exact-file anchor as pending.

REPORTING ↔ OFFICIAL FBI INTERVIEW RECORDS

2019 FBI interviews containing allegations involving Trump

REPORTING IS NOT THE FBI RECORD
Reuters: DOJ releases additional FBI interview summaries containing unverified allegations

Reuters reported on FBI interview summaries released by DOJ and emphasized that it could not independently verify the allegations. The official anchor is the DOJ disclosure collection; the allegations remain allegations, not findings.

Open external source ↗

Related official record

Limit: The existence of an FBI interview record proves that a statement was reported to investigators; it does not prove the statement true. DOJ has separately cautioned that the production includes public submissions that may be false.

Legal / editorial notice: This is a journalistic research tool, not a finding of criminal or civil liability. A person's appearance in a document, photo, address book, flight log, financial record, allegation, or social network does not imply wrongdoing. Allegations are labeled as allegations; civil findings are distinguished from criminal convictions; denials and materially favorable evidence are displayed when known.
