Richard Branson’s island was the setting for meetings with Epstein described by Virgin in its response to the released correspondence.

In September 2013 correspondence, Richard Branson thanked Epstein for a recent visit, invited him back and suggested favorable public comments from Bill Gates as a way to repair Epstein’s reputation. Virgin said the meetings were limited group or business occasions and that it later rejected a donation following due diligence.
